Hey guys, just announced this week ^^ SUPER STREET FIGHTER IV

"Capcom announced an incremental sequel to Street Fighter IV game dubbed as Super Street Fighter IV. This SFIV sequel will feature eight or more characters, tweaked gameplay, new combos and improved online mode. Super Street Fighter IV is slated for spring 2010 release for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Gamespot guys were lucky enough to get the first look at the Super Street Fighter IV game.

Super Street Fighter is an incremental sequel as improvements and additions are made based on Street Fighter community feedback. These enhancements also include the aspects of the game code that Capcom Dev team couldn't implement them in the SFIV game.

Surprisingly, Super Street Fighter IV won't be compatible with Street Fighter IV game and would be retailed on a stand alone disc. So, Street Fighter IV disc owners won't be able to tune their characters. This game is not going to be downloadable content for sure and won't be sold as full price.

Eight or maybe more characters will star in it, including T.Hawk's re-entry to 3D scene. A Tae Kwon Do girl named Juri would be added as the new character. Also, a leaked scan from Famitsu, a Japanese gaming magazine's upcoming issue reveals character Dee Jay. Previous game characters would return with new ultra combos.

Capcom is actively working the online mode of Super Street Fighter IV in which matches would take place. The company also mentioned an unspecified bonus for the owners of Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV discs. "

I know there'll be moaning about having to purchase a new disc, but I honestly LOVE Street Fighter IV (let's put it this way, I arranged my second trip to Japan to coincide with it's arcade release...i played alot of SFIV in those 2 weeks) and I basically pounced on the PS3 release when it came out as well plus looks like it won't be full price, and each subsequent version of the SF games seem to improve

Lame...

Especially for all of us that bought SFIV when it first came out.

Looks interesting. I hope they redress the balance; Sagat needs to be pushed down quite a bit for the first time... ever.

Juri looks like Jolyne Kujo from JoJo's Bizarre adventure, though I'm not surprised since Guile and Rose are based on JoJo characters as well.

I heard there might be some of the SF3 characters in it? I hope Ibuki and Makoto make it in.

I'd like more Alpha and SF3 characters as well ^^ a better merging of the whole franchgise would be cool And nooooooo, don't nerf Sagat, he's my second favourite character after Gen ofc!

If it helps it will be 'expansion' priced and not full retail price. They wanted to do DLC but the code changes and character additions would have made it to big so they are going with a disk. Capcom has also said that people who already own IV will get a special bonus for owning both.

What really annoys me is, that they announced it 4 days after I bought my version of SF4

Still, if it's not too expensive I'll consider it. I'm not very good at it, but I enjoy it anyway.

So, about those other characters...how about Guy and Cody (from Final Fight). There the only other interesting characters the Alpha series had imo. I guess we'll see Charlie as well. That was the name of Guile's buddy, wasn't it?

The previously leaked characters are all said to be in the game. Dee Jay, T. Hawk, Dudley, Ibuki, Makoto, Adon, Cody and Guy. The new characters are rumored to be: o Hakan - An Arabic grappler obsessed with oil. o Juri - Evil Asian girl fighter working for Seth. * All characters will have two Ultras. They will both be available at one time, not selectable like with Third Strike's Super Arts. The commands to execute your Ultras do not overlap.
o It sounds like the characters from Third Strike are set up with their prior Super Arts. They had three in that game, so one will be their Super and the other two their Ultras.
o Gen has four Ultras because of his two fighting styles. One of these is said to be an Air Ultra.
o All characters still have one Super, except Sakura who apparently has a Shinkuu Hadoken (Super Fireball) as well.
* Some characters will have Air Ultras.
* The Bonus Stages will be returning.
* This will be an exclusive arcade release at least for a few months.
* An official announcement is said to be coming at the Tokyo Game Show and on the Japanese Street Fighter 4 blog soon.
* Expect the return of the many familiar Supers, and a few new ones like Metsu Shoryuken. You'll see the return of Chun-Li's Kikosho (Super Fireball), Gouken's Denjin, Sagat's Tiger Cannon (Super Fireball).
* Ibuki has a run command.
* Guile has his Sonic Hurricane move from Marvel vs. Capcom 2.
* Dudley has his Chain combos from Third Strike, plus one additional Chain combo.
* Cody is the only character with an Alpha Counter and he still has his knife. He supposedly needs his knife to perform one of his Ultras.
* Rufus can cancel-break the last hit of his Spectacle Romance, or the launch kick of Space Opera Symphony.
* Guy has his Chain combos.
* Makoto has her Tanden Renki Super from Third Strike.
* Zangief is said to have a 720 degree motion Air Ultra called the Siberian Blizzard.
* The game takes place one year after Street Fighter 4.
* Dudley was searching for his car in Third Strike, in this game he's searching for a rose.
* T. Hawk's storyline involves him protecting Juni or Juli.
* Dhalsim's new Ultra is called the Yoga Shangri'la.
* There's a new gameplay system called Tadan Saving, the phrase implies a multi-hitting or multiple-level Focus Attack.
* The console characters are all said to be added to the upcoming arcade release, with the possible exceptions of Seth and Gouken.

I fething hate Seth. I can't even beat the guy on very easy.

Might have to get this one... I never got SFIV, but SSFIV herm....
