First of all i've been into wargaming for a fair few years now, but mostly specialist games. I've dabbled in GorkaMorka, Inquisitor, Battlefleet Gothic and Necromunda; but now I mostly just play Mordheim (with my Middenheimers and Carnival of Chaos warbands) and roleplay in the 'Corporation' Universe.
I've mostly joined as i'm trying to do some research on some Rogue Trader era models. I've recently been given a horde of old metal models (15 toolboxes). So far i've only managed to get three of the boxes to my house and they contain Space Slann, Tyranids (Including several Zoats), Squats, An odd hovercar type vehical painted for the Slann and several models that look a lot like terminators. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any sites that might tell me the approximate worth of old models like these.
Cheers!!

Ebay is your best bet, if you can be bothered to type in 15 toolboxes worth of model names.
Or, if you laid them out in photo's, I'm sure some friendly Dakka members would give you a hand (myself included).

Thank you all for the welcomes!! And also thanks for the help so far, I've tried eBay but couldn’t find any Space Slann at all!!
Thanks to the website from jgemrich I’ve managed to identify a few of the models

A - Llamas
B – Ixtacha (one converted)
C - Quinletz
D - Olassa

I to AC – I think these might be converted Warhammer Slann?
Not sure where this vehicle came from, and there’s 24 of the little slug things.
ZOATS
4 x Zoat with Missle Launcher
1 x Zoat with Mace
8 x Zoat with Fleshborer
4 x Zoat with two Fleshborers
1 x Zoat with Axe?
2 x Zoat with Flamer and Power Glove
TYRANIDS
A – 6 Plastic
B – 2 Little hand things??
C – 1 Metal Carnifex

F – 6 Bases of old Rippers maybe?
G – 3 Familiar Genestealers

Welcome.
If its any help the zoats are worth a fair bit (or at least go for a lot on eBay). That said I'd keep them and use them in RT or as something appropriate in 5th (don't know what though). Oh and F in the Tyranid picture are ork squigs (yes they are "nids but the orks nicked them) and they often sell well. Be aware though that the buy it now prices on eBay are often ridiculously high and are the reason the model is still available. I recommend doing a search for completed listings and seeing what the going rate there is. Nids I to R are hybrids and popular due to their use in Genestealer cult armies and Space Hulk (the proper version - sound of creaking bones and gathering dust). Slann are very collectable too. You have done well.

That is a nice collection. I concur that the Zoats can be worth a bit. When I got back into the hobby I found a few on ebay to purchase. They are worth over $10 USD each. Even more cleaned up .
Have the tabs been cut off all these figures? What are they mounted on? Wood? How are they attached to the bases?
That there will reduce the value a bit IMO.

The more I look at these models the more I'm thinking about keeping them!!! I'll probably keep a few that I can use and sell off the excess.
jgemrich, They are mounted on hard cardboard with glue so yes the tabs have been cut off. Also do you mean that they would be worth more if I stripped the paint off them? Automatically Appended Next Post: P.S. Does anyone know what the vehicle is?

Wow, what a valuable collection you've got there. I recently sold some complete sets of all 12 space slann for over £120 per set. Fantasy slann go for £6-8 each, zoats go on average for £8 each (I should know - I've got an army of 40+ all bought on ebay). Hybrids are also worth a decent amount each
As for the IDs
Pic 1:
A - agree - many(!) Llamas
B - the one on the left is Ixtacha, I think the one on the right is the fantasy slann Toltec with an added gun ( http://www.solegends.com/citc/c32slann.htm)
C, D - agree
E - Huvez with added gun
F, G - agree
H - this is Xix
Pic 2: all converted fantasy slann ( http://www.solegends.com/citc/c32slann.htm)
I - Potzalco
J - Naxlatl
K - ?
L - ?
M - Calmecal
N - Nanuazin
O - ?
P - ?
Q - ?
S - Huemal
T - Huastecan
U - Hacienda
V - ?
W - ?
X - Pulque
Y - Atlatl
Z - Mixtecas
AA - Naxuatl
AB - ?
AC - Quninine
Pic 3
Zoats - the mace and axe zoat are fantasy figures - the axe fella is a zoat warrior, the mace and orb is a zoat mage.
Pic 4:
A - plastic tyranid warrior
B - squig (squigs were also part of the nid range as well as being linked to orks http://www.solegends.com/citcat9x3/c92399tyrwarriors-03.htm)
C - Screamer Killer (later to be called carnifex)
D, E - Agreed
F - more squigs
G - can't tell from the pic but I believe you
H - agreed
Pic 5:
I-S - agreed
T - hunter killers, later termagants
Pic 6:
Grav-attack tank - there was a really basic conversion article in an early white dwarf (95?) by Rick Priestly showing how to make this
No idea what the slugs are
