All of those as well as the Met, Guggenheim, Morgan, and Frick Museums.
Also Lacoste France (the Marquis de Sade's manor), Plimoth rock, the National mall in DC, The French Quarter in New Orleans, the CNN building here in Atlanta (it passes for a landmark here) and probably a few others I cannot recall at this moment.
edit: oh and the WTC back when it was still around.

Tower of London (stood on the spot where Anne Boleyn was beheaded), Buckingham Palace (smaller than you'd think), Nelson's Column (bigger than you'd think), Natural History Museum, Manchester Free Trade Hall (first ever Sex Pistols gig in Manchester, as seen in '24-hour Party People'), Amsterdam Sex Museum, The Anne Frank House (not as much fun).
But the greatest of all has to be... The Transporter Bridge, Middlesbrough!

- American Pastoral, Philip Roth
Oh, Death was never enemy of ours!
We laughed at him, we leagued with him, old chum.
No soldier's paid to kick against His powers.
We laughed - knowing that better men would come,
And greater wars: when each proud fighter brags
He wars on Death, for lives; not men, for flags. |
