Saw this and can't figure out what is being sold? Is this a joke?

I would suspect that either they are using a bulk listing program and have uploaded their templates folder by mistake instead of the actual listings, or they have uploaded these as 'placeholders' during one of eBay's free or cheap listings promotions with the intention of editing in the actual product information later.

Interesting,
emailed him about it.

That is the WORST description (or lack there of) I have ever seen on a 40k eBay auction

I hope just a mistake,
otherwise just wasted money on something not really funny

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Yeah,
Looks like they have put HEAPS up unupdated.

So I imagine this is an error or they will be updated.
Hopefully they are GK termies and I get them all at $1!!

That was rather needlessly antagonistic. You could simply have asked what the deal was, rather than having a go at him for something that was quite probably a simple oversight.

And how have you 'lost money'? Surely you didn't bid on it without first finding out what was actually being sold?

Because if you did, frankly, you deserve whatever you get. Unless the seller is a saint he's certainly not going to be disposed to go out of his way to make you happy after that email.

Indeed. What was all the humbug about?

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

The description reads 'I'.

You should interpret it as .

If you were cleared to know, you would.

A Deathwatch kill team is likely deepstriking into your mums house as you read this...

Honestly, I have no clue what it was about.
But it appears as though it was a private transaction,
and the seller used a standard template.

I figured it was the original "I" thread on Dakka these many moons ago.

What would happen is that someone would start a thread title with a capital I, and hit the enter key just after hitting the shift key, which would post an empty thread with the title I.

We would then, with great glee, spell out naughty things one letter at a time after that (in the same thread; each post used to be displayed after the thread title).

The classic "I" threads. Ahhh, yes. Good ol' EZ Board.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

It's pretty clear to me that this guy is not selling anything.

He is IMO spending his listing fees to tell the 40k auction watching world that he is #1. I#1!!!
