So, this will be my attempt at ranking up my various warhammer armies, starting with skaven. We've got some flat magnets, thin nuts that will be glued inside the bases, and here we go. IF anyone has any other ways of doing this, PLEASE, let me know. I am trying to find the best solution, and this is what I have come up with, but I have not heard many ideas outside my friends.

and more pictures. The all plastic models stay on sideways and the very basic ones stay on even upside down. The banner bearer has 2 magnets on his base, and stays on better. The metal models will stay on during a game though. This raises the bases above the side of the movement tray, and I am unsure whether I should raise the side. All suggestions are welcome.

Maybe it's the lazy way, but GF9 sells a pretty reasonably priced kit that includes 25 magnetic bases and a big piece of magnetic tape that sticks to movement trays.

wow that GF9 stuff is awesome, I wish I had known about that before basing my entire army. Unfortunately it is a little late for that, maybe the next army.

Why not make new movement trays using the flat magnets as the bass og the tray and gluing the sides of the tray directly onto the magnet?

Ya, I think that is what I will end up doing, and putting a thin metal layer underneath to give it more strength.
