Combi skorcha is better. Your definately going to hit and softening up before assaults can be handy.
I find nobz with a painboy don't need eavy armour because of feel no pain. Drop eavy armour and you can buy another two nobz probably.
I think if your going on foot killa kanz would be handy for a kan wall and use big meks with KFF for cover saves.

Drop Grots and Tankbustas and you can pick up another Warboss and another squad of Nobz. That will give you tons of footsloggy goodness.

I'd drop the TL shoota, and I'd pick up an Attack Squig.
TROOPS:1125Pts________________________________________________________________

This unit is a big waste of points without (a) PK's and (b) a transport. Should also have a Bosspole or 2 in here. Remember you want these to be as diverse as possible to take advantage of wound allocation rules.
(30)Ork Boyz-225pts-w/Nob w/PK, Eavy Armor, Bosspole (Choppas)
(30)Ork Boyz-225pts-w/Nob w/PK, Eavy Armor, Bosspole (Choppas)
Personally, I'm no fan of footslogging Orks, but if it's your preference... go for it. Might want Big Shootas in here, in that case.
(30)Ork Boyz-215pts-w/3x Bigshootas, Nob w/Bosspole (Shootas)
See above, re: footslogging. No Nob should be without a PK, even if you intend this to be a "shooty" unit.
(30)Grots-120pts-w/3x runtherds
For the points, you're better off with boyz.
FAST ATTACK:520Pts_____________________________________________________________
(5)Deffkoptas-300pts-w/3x Twin-Linked Rokkits, 3x Biggbomms, 2xBuzzsaws
Wow. That's a lot of points.
I think you'd be better off with 2 units of 2, dropping the BogBomms (limited usefulness, really) and having 1 Buzzsaw per unit) The points could go towards more Boyz. This unit will be seen as the threat that it is and die swiftly.
(15)Stormboyz-220pts-w/Nob w/PK, Bosspole
Good unit. Good size. If you have the points, consider... whats'isname... the Special Character.

(15)Tankbustas-245pts-3x Rokkit Hammers, 1x Bomb Squig, Nob w/Bosspole
These are unreliable and easily led around by the nose. Your better bet would be 15 Lootas (S7 shots aren't bad). If you have/can find the points, you can drop them in a Battlewagon w/ a KFF Big Mek for the cover save (if ever needed) and bosspole.
Warboss lead nobz squad.
Just my thoughts.

I'm sure the tankbusters are in there because he is worried about fighting a mech heavy army. I think he really just needs more PKs. Probably 2-3 in the nobz squad and definitely 1 PK on each nob in all the boyz squads. Replacing those tankbustas with a squad of rokkit kans might be better since they don't have the glory hog special rule. Also the rokkit kans can be used as bullet shields for your infantry (blocking small arms fire). Like someone else stated, a KFF mek is a great thing to have in this army.
On the subject of the glory hog special rule alot of people get it wrong. The rule doesn't dictate how the unit moves. Grotsnik's rule does that, but glory hog doesn't. A tankbustas squad can move anyway it wants. The rule just says that if a vehicle is within the line of sight of the unit it must try and attack it (even if it is out of range according to the FAQ). Therefore the tankbustas are only unreliable in the sense that if there is a vehicle on the board they will most likely not attack any infantry, which might screw up your strategy a bit. This is why most people put tankbustas in a BW. They can get them to the enemy vehicles quick to take them out and move on to the next thing. Otherwise on foot it is quite possible that the tankbustas will be forced to move all around the board trying to get to the tanks because they won't be allow to shoot at anything else. Your only option on foot is to try and move the tankbustas in such a way that their line of sight to vehicles are blocked. Again without vehicles of your own to set of line of sight blocks, this won't be easy to do.
The grots are fine if you are using them an speed bumps (to distract scary units away from your other infantry). The runtherders are actually pretty good units. The "grabba sticks" are great for taking on things with nasty attacks.

If that's directed at me, then I apologize for not being clearer. I presumed my point would be understood.
I was only referring to leading them around in that they'd be manipulated into targeting things they shouldn't over higher priority targets (like the Terminators with P-Fists that are within charge range. LOL). Definitely not "movement."
