Here I start an army of renegade chaos. Books ghosts of Gaunt me a lot good level history and FW figures do not even speak. . .
I started a squad already, you may have already seen:



I would take more photos of it when I would have looted my APN.

Otherwise, I have two more psykers:



The base of psyker with both hands is finished (photos soon).

And I just received 3 squads of renegades:

Some are to be stripped, but nothing serious (buy a forum for a price very correct).

The next week I'd also acquired a leman russ punisher and a new brush to paint my back ^^.
Also soon a list of the army, because these figures be played!

Very interesting colour scheme, makes me feel that these are IG that operate in industrial cities where dirt and grime is common place like perhaps underground amoungst the sewers and tunnels beneath the city streets.

If thats not the intent then please don't think it an insult as it isn't, I actually like the look and think it suits it wonderfully. My only possibly suggestion would be to darken the headgear and masks, just to make them flow more colourwise.

The pysker has some nice detail to it. Keep up the good work

Mix 2 parts of Devlan Mud to 1 part Badab Black.

Apply to your models for instawin. It'll make them look dirtier, grimier, and really make the uniforms pop.

Agreed on the wash... dirtying them up a bit would make them perfect.

The psykers look promising.

I did forget to mention that I especially like the pallid skin on the Jesus Psyker.

I would say, though, that a good mix of purple/blue washes would make it look more...sickly/warptouched.

They are some very good models. I like the dirty yellow jumpsuit look.

hellsguardian316: renegades too do not maintain their uniform / armor, so your idea is very consistent.

Kanluwen: still washes over? hum ... must see. Purple / blue skin? Wow, its going to be too shocking?

Well see, if you water the washes down while on the brush before applying them--it won't be like "OHMYGAD! Bluemans!", as the wash will gravitate towards the crevices. Mixing the two together gives a little bit more of a colder/sicklier shade.

And as for the uniforms: A Badab/Devlan mix will give you two darker shades that can be used together for a really nice shading effect. However, you can go the opposite way and use Gryphonne Sepia for a more mud/dried leather effect.

Then I did not understand how to play the bloodthirsty. . .
And finally, can you help me with this list into a playable against the space marine (I lose every time sniff), so it's at 1030 points each.

Technically, that's more a stylized Totenkopf, or "death's head", than an Imperial Aquila. It fits Chaos just as well as Imperial forces.

The imperial eagle was now kidnapped, it is good of that you spoke about?

I am moving it to P&M Blogs.

Looking good so far. I have just a couple of minor criticisms: firstly, the blue on the base is too bright and detracts attention away from the model. Secondly, there is a mould line on the arm of the flamer guy. It's worth taking the time and attention before painting the model to ensure that it is properly cleaned and prepared as this will greatly improve the overall look.

Other than that, keep up the good work.

I would suggest the use of washes so as to make the entirety of the grime look like it has been accumulated over time, and not like they just dunked their heads in a pool of crap.

As always renegade militia get my thumbs up.

No offense, but I think the tank looks terrible.

The guardsmen are quite sloppy aswell.

They'd look even better if you used washes on the pants, mate! But other than that, nice work! I LOVE the Leman Russ,reminds me of mine *COUGH*!

@Spyko , i actually like that paint scheme alot , the olive green and the red / orange does work.
A suggestion or 2 though that is easy to fix .
First been i think Forge World stuff should deserve some extra TLC , so maybe remove some mold lines in the future?
I also think the base rim needs to be black , it needs something dark to bring the whole mini depth as atm its just too bright.
