Man...I've given up on AT-43 being played at my wargaming club with any regularity such that I have multiple opponents to choose from, and I have a 7.5k UNA army full of rares and conversions sitting around which I'm really on the fence about selling as it's the only I got from the firesales that I kept...and would be very expensive to ever rebuild.

Then I start seeing the Oni models:

Red Blok? Meh, got rid of them because I already had a human army and Red Blok wasn't as Horde as they were advertised.

Therians? Meh, I thought the models were really sub-par. The problem with black is that it really needs to be properly highlighted in order to not be boring. Assault, Grim, and Storm Golems all pretty much look the same at first glance, even the Golgoths got boring to me.

Karmans? Neat idea, but not into the monkeys.

Cogs? The most visually-boring army so far IMHO. Also, the orange looks really bad to me.

But Oni? Cool vehicles, corporate evil, I can hire them to support my UNA...and zombies. They have zombies.

Not only that, but Zombies force opponents to spend LPs just to shoot at them and there are a bunch of ways to turn opponent models into more Zombies.

Plus, when Merced, ONI Merc Platoons gain the Advantages/Disadvantages of their Parent Company.

Please - I don't need Dakka Dakka to grace me with love-hate relationships with tabletop wargames. I got started with that four years ago when I first picked up 40K. The annoyance intensity with AT-43 has dwindled both in part to recent loss of a family member and also getting bored with it...the annoyance, I mean...but I still have no buddies who play AT-43 regularly so it's hard to justify purchasing anything else for the game, especially when I'm thinking about selling the one army I have left and everything else AT-43 in my possession.

Methinks I need to s or get off the pot...if I'm keeping the UNA, I may need some zombies. I mean, they have zombie guns that turn people into zombies.
