I keep seeing certain posters talking up "Best Of" lists (made famous by YTTH) and I was curious if anyone had seen them in action. On paper they seem to be fairly strong, but I was hoping someone could say whether they've used one or had one used against them with some success. I'm specificially curious about tournament environments.

I seem to see it change every few weeks. I think it depends on who won the latest tournament

Stelek ran his own tournament, so you'd hope that one of his lists won there...

I don't think it has been held yet.

Wait a sec, Stelek was running his own tournament?

In short: I'm fairly certain nobody has played with one of those armies and won any larger US tourney this year.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Has anyone even played with one of these lists at a tournament? I have yet to see any of them either in reports or in event pictures.

Ditto. I'd like to see some Batreps with them.

I did one with the Tau list. (single game)
I plan on doing another single game one tonight with a variant of the marines one.

I don't think I will have a chance to do a tournament one until next month sometime though.
