Why are you running so many guardsmen with lasguns? Flamers are 5pts, autocannons are 10, power weapons are 10... you've got tons of dudes that can't actually do anything.

If nothing else, take them as conscripts, that way they'll be cheaper.

It's all about numbers i say i like that amount of guys you've got just like ork boyz charging enough las-gun will hurt something.

I don't play Imperial Guard and i haven't played them in a 1 on 1 yet but why "blobb" them together it makes more targets that your enemy has to shoot at and ya know if your outta cover then you'll take more than 10 wounds. Wouldn't you rather lose 1 squad of 10 than lose say 17 guys outta a squad of 50 or whatever?

You blob to take advantage of orders and to avoid losing excess KPs.

If you're fighting orks, than you want to at least take the flamers. One good flamer shot kills about as many orks as 20 lasgun shots.

Seems nice, but I really think you should add some special weapons for your guardsmen and command squads. Put your heavy weapons on your Guardsmen (I'm going to say mostly lascannons for some nice long-ranged anti-tank) so that they won't get instant-deathed. I'm going to recommend grenade launchers on the PCS and some infantry, flamers on some infantry, and plasma guns on the CCS if you're a fan of them so that you can have some nice anti-MEQ.

Perhaps take flamers on the eradicator, just so that you have cover-denying weapons all around.

The reason i dont take conscripts is because i would rather Hit on 4s then on 5s as for the CCS and the PCS they are there strictly to give Orders and ive been fiddling with this list for the last 2 months and it seams to work. Flamers on the Eradicator is not a bad idea tho the army has no intetion of moving other then the 2 Vetrean squads and the Sentinals as for dealing with the MEQ theres so much lasgun fire not to much survives past turn 3 and after playing some 10 games with this army fight everything from WitchHunters to CSM i have yet to lose, i am playing it a tournment next weekend and we shall see how it does there.

The heavy weapon squads should not be equipped with lascannons AND autocannons. Take either anti infantry or anti tank heavy weapon squads. When you have anti-infantry and anti-tank weapons in the same squad, something loses effect when you shoot at either tanks or infantry. Those teams as is will let you down every game.

Then as everyone else said, you need more special and heavy weapons, at least the cheap ones, or your guard will get killed in droves every game, and not have enough punch to do anything back.
