I'm wondering if anyone has any experience making a Leman Russ MK1 into an executioner (or just putting on an MK2 turret). It doesn't look like the new style turret will fit, and I'd like some advice (short of "buy a new Leman Russ"). I'm willing to buy a FW turret (do they fit?), if that makes it any easier.

The FW turrets will fit onto regular Leman Russ hulls. Looks rather good actually.

I have one of the Forge World Executioners and it's a very good kit. The Plasma Cannon turret easily fits the hull and it comes with a regular Battle Cannon turret so you can just swap them over when needed.
