Hi to all,
First of all sry for my awful english, there are maybe some (or a lot) of mistakes,
Ok, years ago (in 2000 to be honest) I started collecting a Space marine army (Ultramarines) and it has grown up to companie size, this means a lot of minis, but then after 2 years of intensive painting, gaming, and collecting I lost motivation and I sold most of my minis!!
But then a few weaks ago, while I was cleaning my room, I discovered under my bed my old painting box with the SM leftovers. They looked horrible, the colours dry and the Space Marines in a terrible state (horrible paintjobs)!
One hour later I found myself in a hobby shop buying the new codex, colours and the AOBR box. Then I started painting but don't liked the Ultramarins colourshemeanymore so I decided to create a new chapter, and out came this:

all comments, advices etc are wellcome (and wanted).

Your pictures are broken, maybe upload them to Dakka instead of where they were.
I don't mind the english either, it's actually pretty good. Besides as long as I can understand I usually don't care

Are they the ones in your gallery?

I saw what was wrong by quoting your first post. Dakka doesn't seem to use the html tags so href won't work for creating links. The second one has too many img tags.

Just copy the url and put an img tag at the front and the back and it's fine. If you want to make it link back to the gallery, there is a section under the picture there that will give you the code you can copy and paste to the fourms so it will appear as an image and also be a link back to it.

I like the colour scheme, it works well. Also, after I zoomed the image in a bit I noticed that you actually did the eyes, that's pretty cool

Alright.

Go to the image in the gallery, bottom right courner is a box titled "Share This Image:"
In that box is a bar titled "Forums:". Copy everything in the bar and just paste it into your message. You don't have to add anything to it.
This will make it appear as an image on the forums and act as a link so people can click it and go back to it in your gallery so they can vote if they want.

If you want to post images from anywhere else, or just don't want to do the above method. Just go to the image itself so that it is the only in the browser at the time. The url will have the images file type at the end, rather than the usual htm etc.
Copy the url for the image itself and post it into you message. Put [i mg] at the front of the link and [/ img] at the end. Without the spaces in the middle of the [ ] though, it's just that it won't appear if I did it the exact way it needs.

Make sure you click Prieveiw before Submit when you're done with your post, that way you can check if it worked.

Edit: Too slow
That FAQ is good, didn't know it even existed.

Id say a wash to tone down the brightness and youd be rocking.

Totally agree with KingCracker: Put a thin wash over that armour to take the edge off the brightness and give it a richer tone.

For the gold, try putting a wash of leviathan purple and gryphonne sepia over the top

Ok thx for your comments,
and for those who adviced me to put a wash on the fig,I totally agree and thought about a red gore wash..., but for the gold, I don't even have these colours!!!
And for CHILDREN OF FILTH: they are no "bluhd rayvens"

Nice work dude.

Like mentioned before, you could do with some washes to tone down the red.

Have fun building another company ha!

Cheers,

Jack.

Very nice. And very red. I'd try either Griphonne Sepia, Baal Red (a few coats, with a drop of Badab Black) or Ogryn Flesh.

Well in reality he does not look so red,but I clicked on the autoadjusting button here in dakka gallery and because of this the colours looks brighter...
