Forever alone

I've never been a fan of Kingdom Hearts, or any JRPGs for that matter (bar the first five Final Fantasy games), but... wow. This game is bad. Really, really bad. You play as Roxas who is really just Sora (the hero from the earlier games) but with amnesia and a spiffy black robe. It's moved platforms to the Nintendo DS, and while it does look very good for a DS game, you have to wonder why it didn't go to the PSP instead considering the stylus is hardly ever used and the controls (and graphics) would be a lot better on the PSP.

The missions are repetitive, and it feels like you're fighting the same enemies over and over again and I just got bored really quickly. Seriously, not even MGS 3's awkwardly acted cutscenes were this bad, and those are some of the most boring things I've experienced in a game. There aren't enough worlds to visit and you can only stand the sight of Disney characters wandering around aimlessly for so long.

Even the cutscenes are repetitive! Honestly, how many times do we have to watch the same people eat ice-cream? It's so unimaginative! For shame, Square Enix.

This game is bad. Avoid unless you are (a) masochistic or (b) obsessed with Kingdom Hearts to the point of insanity.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

I wish I could avoid it.
In the office for the past weeks I have heard more about how great it is and what is going on in it than I have about 40k.

There are about a dozen 40k players here - and one player of that game (who does not play 40k).

fyi, I rather like many of Square(-Enix)'s games.
But no.
NEVER!!

I think Disney(who actually owns all KH original characters NOT Squenix) has more to do with there continuing to be more KH games.

Please, put the blame where it belongs, not on Squenix's shoulders who just accept the massive amounts of money Disney offers.

I beat the first game. The plot was awful, but it was fairly entertaining.

I never really had a desire to play another one, though.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.
