Thought I'd stop by and ask the following I am planning a cadian army and was thinking it 'd be cool to have characters such as harker and straken in the army mostly straken but i would need to build them from cadian parts any suggestions ? (aside from using a heavy weapon team heavy bolter for harkers gun of course) also does anyone have any ideas for building your own plasma guns or how id go about getting more plasma guns as currently for me to outfit one vet team with 3 plasma guns it requires 3 command squad boxes to be purchased

Using the command squad box you can do some pretty amazing things. You can get Space Marine plasma guns and just convert them - they're pretty much the same size. Games Workshop even sells a bitz pack with 5 of them -

Alternately you can convert plasma guns by mixing plasma pistols with lasguns. I've seen it done, but it can be hokey.

A friend of mine made a Harker using the Space Marine scout heavy bolter and it came out pretty cool. As for Strakken, you'll have to use your imagination for that one. You'd need to portray that he's got a bionic body and a power fist. Might be able to convert it using some Necron parts.

Or use a marine for Straken. He´s got marine´esque stats anyway...

There is the power sword bionic arm on the command frame- with a bit of reposing, I bet that would work.

I think the SM dev squad has a half bionic head you can use. Try www.thewarstore.com for plastic bitz.
