Deployment:

Orks got 1st turn, he deployed his dread on the objective he had, the lootas on high terrain, but only got them cover of 5+, the rest of his army was deployed as close as possible to the 12" limit, warboss and mek attached to 1 boyz squad each, left the kommandos on reserve.

My deployment as always was my 2 rhinos (both CSM troops) at the edge of the 12" limit, one next to the other and the land raider (with termies) also next to them, my Daemon prince just behind the LR and my khorne raptors with the chaos lord just behind the 2 rhinos. Finally my oblies were on a piece of terrain, equally high as the one the lootas had.

1st turn:

I fail to steal initiative so the ork starts, gets a roll of 3 for the shootas, which means 3 shoots of Str7 AP4 each, 45 shots on the rhino with the assault guys, i claim obscured since the shot was blocked by the kans, get 3 penetratings thru and 2 glancings, one of the penetratings makes the rhino explode with a radius of 5", it kill 1 raptor, wounds one oblie and kills 2 marines inside it. His killa kans shoot at the same marines which were left on the explosion, leaving 6 of them alive. The bikers turbo boost near the northern edge of the table. The rest of his army moves forward and runs.

My turn, i move my LR 12" in order to load my termies and lock the mek mob in combat denying him the FC, the flamer marines now on foot get out of dangerous terrain, i lose 2 of them but get near one of his boyz mob w/o IC, also my raptors move to charge the same mob on the middle of the table. The DP flies north to get in range with the other mob w/o IC. The rhino left with the plasmas moves 6" towards the bikesi remember the turbo boost to late so i instead shoot one of the mobs with a rapid fire plasma from inside, takes out to boyz, my oblie shoot 3 lascannons at one of the kans squads, only one manages to penetrate, the kans deny the roll due to the meks force field. my flamer marines and raptors shoot at the mob they are about to charge and take out 17 boyz with the flamers and pistols. Charges start, my 4 marines from the flamer squad get into the mob as well as my raptors they massacre the 3 boyz left. The termies charge the mek mob, they only get 1 ork, he then makes me save 15 wounds, and i lose all but one combiweapon termie which later dies to the power klaw. The DP takes out 4 boyz, the boyz fail to wound him.

Turn 2

My consolidation moves were in vane trying to get out of the reach of the orks since the waagh was comming this turn. The kommandos roll in from my side, getting on their way to hit the oblies terrain. The rest of his army just moves closer to me, except the lootas and the dread which is guarding his objective. His lootas get another 3 on de D3 for shoots and rain another 45 shots at my raptors, only the lord, the champion, the icon and 2 raptors survive, later the 2 normal raptors are killed by the kans which were on their way to charge them. The mek mob moves towards the remaining 4 marines from flamer squad. The boss mob moves into difficult terrain in order to reinforce the combat in which the DP is involved. Another kan squad gets in charge range of the LR. He activates the waagh but get a gakky roll on the boss squad so he fails to get in assault range of the DP, the mek's mob gets into range of the 4 marines as well as the kommandos. His bikes run to the remaining rhino and open it in the charge with the power klaw, it gets wrecked and i lose 2 marines. One of the kans squad charges my chaos lord and the raptors, the kommandos get the oblies, other kan squad the LR and finally the mek's mob the marines. The flamer marines kill 4 boyz, but then he makes me save 19 wounds with my 4 marines, they obviously die. The kans assaulting the LR fail to dmg it. My raptor champion gets his melta bomb on a kan, but it's only able to stun one of them. The rest kill the remaining 2 raptors. The DP kills 3 boyz, they do 2 wounds to my DP, luckly they fail the Ld test and my DP eats them. The kommands manage to kill 2 oblies leaving one with a wound who takes fails to kill even 1 ork.

My turn, the tank hunter raptors and daemons fail to arrive. Everything is in combat excpet for my DP and the squad of plasma marines which remained on dangerous terrain from the rhino being wrecked. So i move the DP to the boss mob, staying on the other end of where the boss is, take the plasma marines out of dangerous terrain in which i lose another 3 marines, had to move them to make room for the LR to move thru, getting away from the kans, sadly as it gets in contact with the crater left form the rhino it immobilizes. Still i shoot 1 lascannon to the kans that were charging the LR, he denies it again with the mek's field. The plasma marines rapid fire at the bikes and kill 1 of them. Finally the DP charges the boss mob taking out 5 orks. The kans which were in combat with my lord instakill him, the kommandoz finish the oblie.

3rd Turn

His mek mob, and 3 kans move to the immobilized LR, the lootas are out of target to shoot. The kans which raped the lord move thru the LR as well but they are way to far away. The bikers shoot at the remaining 5 plasma marines, 1 dies. Then they charge them, as does the mek's mob and the kans to the LR. The LR get opened by the kans, it explodes and takes with it 3 orks. The bikers take 3 plasma marines, leaving me the power fist and one normal marine which kill 1 of the bikes leaving 4 and the nob. The DP agains kills 5 marines but he takes 1 more wound, the boss mob loses Ld and they get swept by the DP.

My turn, the raptors finally get in, i deploy them facing the back armor of the dread, trying to get rid of his scoring unit with the meltas. The DP charges to the bikers. My meltas manage to get 1 penetrating hit, but it gets immobilized. My DP then charges the bikers killing 5 of them, and then the Nob killing him, my remaining champion with PF kills the nob.

4th turn

The ork gets finally a 1 on the d3 with the lootas, they shoot their 15 shots at the newly arrived raptors, i save the 7 wounds he made on them. Then 2 squads of kans shoot at them and destroys them. Finally the 2 remaining marines get shot to the mass of pistols and the remaining squad of kans annihilating me.

Any suggestion for my poor raptors?

simple; dont run raptors! lol. they're way too expensive for what they do. If you really want a "speedy" squad, try bikers. They're a bit more expensive, do the same things as raptors, but get 1 more toughness.

well,
- orkbotz are not scoring
- dont deep strike your raptors and think that they will live
(5er deepstrikesquads with 2xmelta shouldnt get an expensive champion!)
- 10er khorne raptors should get a powerfist and can work well with "lash" (what doesnt...)
