Rumor is that Blood Angels will come after Nids. After that hopefully Dark Eldar or Necrons will get their much needed updates.

Jervis has said repeatedly they will do not Codex: Inquisition. This is pure speculative rumour that has always been spread by ignorant fans. The people `in the know' keep shooting it down. Google it.

We know Blood Angels are next on the slate, but nothing is solid after that. We know Dark Eldar have been in the pipe for years, and Necrons are in the works, and it is generally assumed one of them will be next. Grey Knights and Sisters have also been in the works since before Necrons, and there has been a rumour of Black Templars coming, but I cannot see it being another double-Imperial release.

I honestly thought that it was almost confirmed, by all the talk of it 1-2 years ago.

With that out of the topic, we need new codices for Daemonhunters, and plastic kits, seriously, this should be they're main priority after DE.

GW just makes me cry sometimes.

I'm guessing it'll be Codex: Space Marines in about 6 'dexes time.

The problem is Necrons and Dark Eldar have been Just after "Next Codex" and "Next Next Codex" for the last 7 years

i thought they where going down the lines of Squated if it isn't a Ultramarine or a Space wolf who needs it ?

I heard Necrons for Summer 2010, but that's when 8th edition Fantasy is coming out so who knows.

Why don't we organise a boycott untill GW agrees to update codecies in order of neccesity rather than the seemingly random basis we've got now. Sure, they are indeed a company that sells models that happen to come with an associated ruleset, but that's no reason for the ruleset to be bad and/or outdated.

You see, there is a large difference here though:

Valve is made up of people whos job it is to program, run, and sell a product in a highly competitive market.

GW is made of up Blood-sucking-vulcan-vampires, who have a huge monopoly on mini-war gaming, and are completely unfamiliar with things like "fan bases," "customer Satisfaction", and "A tiny shred of human compassion." GW will do whatever they damn well please, and if that includes mashing a steaming pile of in between two hyper-dramatic covers and calling it a codex for your favorite/ most hated army, they'll expect you to lick their boots and shell out for their "newly revamped" army.

Sorry for that, I've just hated GW's buisness practice ever since they suck-ified CSM and started bombing their fansites with C&D's.

Nachturnus: the problem with GW is that they think and act like they have a monopoly. But they don't. There are multiple viable wargame systems out there, and GW is just trying to act like games like Warmachine and Flames of War don't have market share.

It's going to bite GW in the ass, and all of us too, unless GW actually starts acting like they want to be competitive, instead of just acting like the competition doesn't exist.
