Hey Guys,

Here is my 8,9, and 10th deffkopta. These guys are big shootas. I have 6 rocket launchas, 1 KMB and now 3 deffkoptas. I know the rocket launchas are probably the best choice, but these guys also gain reach, are twin linked, and exploit the would allocation rule (sorry but it's the truth

I hope you like em, there are some minor touch ups I have to do yet, worn off paint, uneven wash, but essentially they are done.

The ammo packs are from AOBR big shoota guys, the ammo grot is from the burna/loota kit. The big shootas are looted from the loota kit with sprue framework. The emblem is my 2nd shot at free handing this. All comments are welcomed, good or bad

Very very nice

How hard was it to take the rokkits off? I'm probably going to have to do so myself soon- was it easier to do it before or after assembly?

Hey,

The rockets were quite sturdy to the model actually! I took mine off with mini saw wheel and my dremel. This was done before they were assembled and I suggest you do the same. Cheers, thanks for the comment.

Brilliant paintwork. Very orky

The conversion work is solid. The freehand is well executed. Very cleanly painted, too. A little too clean for my tastes, actually. Also, a wash on the skin might tie the colors together a little more. As it stands, the highlighting makes the ork's skin look a bit like a watermelon. All personal preference, though. In general, quite well done.

Excellent! This is very well done indeed. Your painting style is very crisp and clean looking. Its refreshing to see next to all the messy gloppy paintjobs I see on orks, (my own ork army included). The flames give it a Harley Davidson kinda look. I notice a lot of people put two big shootas on their deffkoptaz. I myself cut the rokkits off with an X-acto knife and glued part of a regular shoota to each half of a rokkit remaining. Anyhoo, great work! I'd love to see your whole army.

Nice work Catattafish. Clean paint, flames(!!!), and nice attention to detail.

I'm especially digging the horizon reflected in the pilot's goggles, smartly done.

Very nice, my only complaint is that there's no obvious ammo belt/box for the shootas?

I thought that the backpack of ammo chained to the back was feeding ammo through the kopta into it but I could be wrong
