Im rather new to the ork force and would like some help on a upcoming tounament

Needs to be more versatile. Swap one unit of 29 orks for something else. Kommandos, burnas or tankbustas perhaps. Another idea, though it may be against your preference, is to make one unit shoota boyz. 58 shots is worth considering, you can kill almost anything with that amount of shots.

Needs more transport or something to take there fire. They can move faster than the hordes and there is only two of them, fire at the one with the meganobz in and they're now walking with slow and purposeful :(

btw - meganobz can take a battlewagon as dedicated transport which frees up a heavy slot

Fill those trukks up to the brim with boyz and I would drop grot riggers, trukks don't last 5 minutes and more points invested into them is more wasted.

Your list lacks lack range fire support, lootas are better than burnas anyway and would fill this hole. Orks strolling in at inititive 3 furious charge will get battered by a dedicated assault unit anyway.

I changed Burners to Lootas as said, got rid of 1trukk boyz unit and changed it to an ork boyz squad to go with big mek in battle wagon also got rid of grot riggers.
I had 20 pts left at the end so i gave big mek a Pk instead of burna and the war boss an attack squig

*EDIT* And holy cow, bad advice is prevalent around these forums. Don't mix and match an ork gunline and an ork assault force. If you're playing mechanized assault, absolutely don't take lootas. That list, and the comments I posted on it for the OP in the link I posted are an absolutely phenomenal 1750 mechanized assault list.

A nob with a powerklaw is 45 points; 20 for the nob, 25 for the powerklaw...your points are a bit off.

Find out at your local store about deff-rollas against vehicles. If they say no, take reinforced rams instead.

No a nob in a ork boyz squad is 41pts
ork boy 6pts+10pts to upgrade to a nob+25 pts for the pk thats 41pts
asked about deff rollas said they didn't know so ill chance if any confrontation

As for Deff Rollas, if you do some research on here, there is very strong arguments for using it against vehicles. Just remember that the deffrolla works in ALL tank shocks, and that ramming is a subset of tank shocking. Repeat it like a mantra. And if you get grieved, ask what happens when you Ram a Dreadnought that death or glories you....if you don't allow it to take 2d6 STR10 hits, they just shattered the rules.

ok guys i just ran a tornament with this list it performed... ok... i would have done better but 20% of the final score was composition which i got a 1/5 for. so ive decided to make the list alot more fluffy by dropping ghazzy so heres the list now.

Don't drop ghaz he is too good you will quickly realise how much you miss him.

dont get me wrong i realy like ghaz in my army but im pritty much giving up up to 15% soft score marks just by taking him and i dont think him alone can win me that much in battle.

The newest Ork FAQ from GW says Deffrollas work against vehicles. I didn't think this was still a question.
