Abbadon is the warmaster of chaos and Sigvald is his WFB Icualavent so, who would win?

Sigvald isn't even up to Archaon let alone Abbadon.

Not quite. Chaos armor is probably more than capable of withstanding a bolter. As is magic armor. And ward saves.

Sigvald isn't equivalent to Abbaddon, Archaon is. And I expect that even Archaon would get whupped by the Warmaster.

They would never fight each other.

Chaos armor doesn't equal power armor, I mean honestly....

I'm sure Carapace armor is more powerful than chaos armor.

WHFB Chaos would get wiped out in a second.

Doesn't really save Sigvald from being womped by Abby..

Sigvald is a poof anyway, i think he tends to compare to a slightly more sane lucius.

but Archaon and Abaddon seem to match up well

When power armor was a 4-6 save save, Chaos Armor could be up to a 2-6 save (it starts out as a 5-6 save and if you paid more points it got +1 to the save) and when someone got chaos armor or its save was upgraded, on 4+, it gave you +1 T as it was bonded to you but you could only get the +1T once.

This means that Chaos armor could be as strong as Terminator armor.

Yea don't quite understand how the op thought this would be a good fight. Well to defeat Archaon it did take the orcs mightiest and a slew of Empires finest.. Hhhmm Archaon vs Be'lakor at his prime could be at least a solid fantasy fight.

I doubt you can really compare stats across games like that. Especially not in a fluff debate. Chaos Armor may be good, but can it really take getting pounded on by a double-barreled, automatic grenade launcher?

Okay, for fluff's sake, let's say it took place in the Warp, where both had armour that was made equal to the favour that the Chaos Gods bestow upon them, or some bs like that.

That's not solving the problem, that's artificially making Archaon worse.

And let's be honest, with the amount of fail that Abaddon embodies, he's bound to get a lot weaker.

I doubt they will weaken him much unless they find another to be the Lord of Chaos's forces. As far as the bolter shot killing him in one shot? IDK bout that.

Well, if this was a "commanding a vast armada of spaceships, and a legion of supersoldiers wearing powered exoskeletons" contest I think we can agree Archaon would win.

To be fair, if Abaddon can manage to brush his teeth in the morning when he gets up, I'm happy for him.

He tried combing his hair, but he kept messing it up and had to go with the topknot.

Obviously not a fan of the Chaos Lord. I do think in terms of "cool" factor Archaon wins hands down but I think Abaddon wins head to head, one on one.

Yeah, the two systems were pretty much the exact same thing, in terms of statistics and whatnot, so Chaos Legionnaires wearing Chaos Armor with a 2+ save had as good of a save as a Terminator.

So to answer RustyKnight's assertion, yes, you can compare as this is what Chaos Armor was and actually is.

The best though is "I have a bow and arrow!" "I have a lascannon."
