For people looking to support plastics from other manufacturers, here's an awesome deal:

http://www.wargamesfactory.com/_product_16676/Vikings_8-Figure_Set

They're dynamic, have consistent proportions and have great variety in the heads. And for that price they're all win.

I'm mostly interested in the heads and sheilds, and for that price I had to get two (well, and the international shipping was $11, I don't want to pay more for shipping than product ).

No, I don't get any kickbacks, just hoping to help promote quality options.

Still, nice models for that price.

Doh!

I discovered them from http://www.tabletopgamingnews.com/ and didn't see the Dakka link. I wanted to spread the love, but Kyoto's one step ahead of me. Again. Curse you Kyoto!!!

Ha ha ha!

From Hell's heart I strike at thee!

Seriously, anything that helps support this upstart company is good with me.

One might want to get a size comparison to WHFB models before buying up a ton. I got a pack of their zombies, and they are notably smaller scale than GW stuff, being a little smaller than Sisters scale wise. That was fine for disposable horror sloths, being rotten and all, but for live men, they might end up looking more like 12 year olds with beards and spears.
They do look nice though, and certainly would not fall behind on over all aesthetics!

now that my fellow gamers is a deal. .50cent a model even for plastic historicals is a great price, and for all the bits that come with SIGN ME UP.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

It's pretty much certain these will be far too skinny to use in any kind of WHFB. True scale 28mm, as all other WGF products.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

I don't know how varied the WHFB army based on Vikings is.

The real Vikings army didn't have a lot of different troop types so it should be possible to make an entire army out of these plus some metals, assuming the company doesn't make any supplementary troops.

The proportions of the figures are only an issue if you want to mix them with GW figures.

It's becoming increasingly viable to make mainly plastic armies out of non-GW figures.

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Id replace GW's cartoon sculpts with these. Already have two boxes of their British zulu war troopers as Praetorian units for my IG.

The other thread has a video with a size comparison. As noted they're around the size of a LotR model. Smaller than most GW.

£3 for a decent multi-part kit? i like it
8 models for that price is even better.

So, GW is £18 for 10 men.
this is around £18 for 48 men!

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.
