Forge World does not discount to anyone. Period. A store buying from them pays the same price as anyone else.

Yeah. But the reason why they don't discount makes sense.
They don't want to have someone buying up all the stock that they produce for an allotted time, and then cranking up the prices claiming that things are "limited supply" and give them a bad name.

GW Employees do get a 20% discount off FW stuff, but compared to the 50% they normally get, it is still expensive.

I think it is probably more about price control and profit control. They know they have a limited supply of product and probably prefer to keep all the profit margins for themselves.
Take it from me, its not that hard to ramp up production of resin kits. Its a direct production cost-quantity sold-sales relationship.
