EDIT: In Australia Azhag is $138, and after looking them up Baneblade is $165 and Stompa is also $165. So it isn't Azhag at all

At £895 pounds, the Manta is by far the most expensive model. Anphelion base come next, at 690odd, followed by the Imperial Fortress, then the reaver Body, Followed by the Thunderhawk Transporter then The Thunderhawk Gunship, then the Orca, then the Warhound Body, then there's a buncha stuff a £200 ( Eldar Vampires, Gargantuan squiggoth, Hierophant), followed by the marauder destroyer then the Marauder bomber, then the Revenant, then there are a LOAD that cost between £150-120, then you break into the light Super-heavies really. The most expensive ordinary tank is the Grey Knights Redeemer, at £56.

I can't see ANYONE buying the Manta, I mean what kind of flight stand can actually even support that huge heavy over the board? Imagine the risk of it tipping over breaking a thousand dollar model while probably smashing any plastic models beneath it.

Essentially its basically unplayable, you're better off proxy one from epic or scratch building one yourself out of foam.

Remember its like $2200+ I could build 3-4 2000 point armies with that INCLUDING Forge World models. It's too bad since it effectively means the Tau does not have any realistic super-heavy models in Apoc.

Any model going over 100 bucks alone for me is where I say screw that, hell even going above 70$. I'm just shivering at how expensive that stuff is.

The Manta is nice looking but I just can't look at it and say it's worth a new high end lap top or nice flatscreen TV. I feel that way about a lot of Forgeworld's big stuff. Yeah it's great looking but compared to what that kind of money can buy I just can justify it, nor would I risk taking it to the table to actually play.

GW models are very expensive when considering the quality.
bought a Thunderfire cannon for 40€ and parts didn't even fit without some modifying :(

Well I mean I can understand some prices, but we buy them, we put them together, mod them, paint them! Why do these certain things have to be that expensive at times. Then again saying this someone will pull out the calculator sit me down and lay down the facts, until them damn them for being so expensive and yet entertaining to play! Damn those damn dirty apes!
