Are big shootas worth their points, as an average you get one strength 5 hit every turn, for that cost you could also buy another ork, and if it's in a slugga boy squad you lose an attack.

I say yes with no basis of any kind for my argument and I will defend it as if you murdered my favorite childhood pet.

On a slugga unit, it would be a waste of points. On shootas, it would complement what they would already be doing anyway, so I don't see a problem giving shootas big shootas too.

If your shoota boys are on the ground, sure - then again, I don't believe shoota boys belong in vehicles.
