So my gaming group back home and I are trying to find a way to make it so that all of us can have a good time playing and not be tempted to take outrageous armies. Are there any comp rules for tournaments or your gaming group that seem to work really well. Preferebly something that still allows a fun game, but which tones down the outrageous armies so that the games dont end up being, i cant kill that so i concede...

To help out the main armies are going to be empire, lizards, HE, dwarves, O&G possibly DE.

I can post ETC comps if it helps you:
2000 pts: Dark Elves, Vampire Counts (I think), Demons of Chaos
2250 pts: Everything other not listed in 2000 pts or in 2500 pts
2500 pts: Orcs & Goblins, Ogre Kingdoms (I think)

ETC bottom tier is now 2700 pts, not 2500.

There is also the WPS comp system which I like.
