Has anyone gotten their army yet?

If I remember correctly I got my army for winning the 40k semis faster then this (course I might just be mis-remembering).

I had spoken to the Florida Rep regarding this issue about two weeks ago, and he stated that none of the armies had been shipped as of 11/13/09, and that they were expected to arrive at their target stores around 11/28/09 or so...I would keep a close eye on your local store (or the one you played Ard Boyz at. I asked for mine to be shipped to my local store as my semi finals were 5 hrs away)...

the main problem was that everyone, including myself, asked for Skaven and they were checking with HQ as to what to do...since the new models were "technically" not released.

They decided that they were NOT going to send the new skaven out as an army, and were trying to contact the winners to find out an alternative.

Just got the call that my army showed up at my FLGS! Ug, now I have to wait until after work to go see what I got...

Got a call yesterday from my FLGS that the Army arrived.

Going to stop by there on Thursday night after work to pick it up.

Picked up my 2nd daemon army last night and heres what I got:

Another Bloodthirster (arg)
Epidemus
x2 Bloodletters
x2 daemonettes
x3 pink horrors
x2 plaguebearers
x1 plaguebearer command
x2 flamers
x2 fleshhounds
x2 beasts of nurgle (bleh!)

Not as good as what I got from the 40k 'Ard Boyz but free is free and it does fill some gaps I had on the fantasy side. Just need to see if I can trade in the bloodthirster for a Great Unclean One. Might try and turn one of the beasts of nurgle into a mount for a plague bearer as a counts as herald on planquin.

lol, throwing two Greater Daemons into your deal was a really cheap @$$ way to make it 3000pts....heh, thats why I picked wood elves....no point sinks so I might at least get a decent amount of stuff

Sour grapes??

At no point have I been anything but extremely excited and happy to have received two armies this year. I love the 'Ard Boyz tournaments and will be all over them next year as well and would be even if there wasn't a free army at stake.

My lament over the thirster and beasts is simply a hope for what could have been in their place, put I was VERY happy to get all the Characters, special, and rare choices. And as I said I will probably find a use for the beasts and find a home for the Thirster.

Just got mine yesterday (I think it arrived at the store the day before).

I was hoping I would even get one box of Blood Knights... but 3? Crazy. It's way short on the Core for the massed raising army I had initially envisioned, but it's quite a blitz list now. Or I could be TFG with a Blood Knight Death Star. We'll see what happens. If nothing else, since I'm covered in Special and Rare now, it's not hard to pick up that Battleforce and double my supply of Core.

All in all, very happy about it. I had thought about Skaven initially too, glad I didn't mess with it after all.
