I do not know if this would be the correct forum to post this in, but... I need some form of motivation to paint my models, every single time I get ready to sit down and paint, something else seems more appealing. I have a love for my eldar army, but, I just seem to be unable to paint them, anyone have any suggestions to get me inspired? Thanks.

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

Paint them in front of the TV if you can. I find that I can paint for ages if I have something else to distract me (I really hate painting and find it difficult to paint for more than a few minutes at a time normally).

I find that if I can't get motivated to paint, but want to try and get some work done, I just browse the painting and modeling forum or the tutorials section for about half an hour or so, usually I spot something cool or see a nicely painted model and that gets me in the mood to paint a bit. Like Inquisitorfabius I usually turn on some music, usually my Pandora radio and just start painting. Before I know it 2 hours have passed and I've made significant headway on a model or three.

Just my two pennies. Take care and good luck!

You don't know me son, so I'll explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.
