I had this one for a while, and I thought I'd get him assembled. The head is still free turning.







The torso is magnetic, and so are both arms. The flail arm had been glued on, but I dropped him, and the flail arm fell off, so I magnetized it. Victory for clumsy bastards!

The base is made from a Mechwarrior 2 CD, funnily enough. I've made it to match my Daemon Army, so that the daemons can do double duty as summoned daemons for a CSM army I'm working on.

Cool idea! If I may, I would suggest some dead SM's or Guard hanging off the body, or on the base, but that's kind of unrelated.

I really like it. Looks really dramatic. Don't like the flaily things though. They just look out of place. Not particularly yours, I don't like them on any model.

I also have to agree, I hate the flails whenever they appear. It's a great idea for a video game but on a static mini they always look terrible (especially on Chaos Dreadnoughts). I'd either swap to a missile launcher, or convert another hammer - or better yet, a claw, to hold the pummel-ee. Otherwise, I think you've improved upon the Defiler, which is an awesome model to begin with.
