I read these forums, goggle at peoples' creativity, conversions, and everything else and wish I had the ability to make an ork battlewagon that unfolded into freakin' Optimus Prime. I don't think I've ever had that kind of creative juice.
Today, I've been modeling and converting the whole day; I have a lot of critical "half" models for my new army missing arms, legs, weapons....not enough of the right kind of weapon, or parts are missing, vehicles broken and missing important pieces...I worked miracles today fixing them; using orky bits cut down into bits, using sprue bits to make missing limbs, feet, weapons, you name it.
I'm so proud of the progress I've made.
Do you ever have moments of ingenuity? Tell me about it?

I spent over a half an hour trying to find a way to make an axe look ''naturally" strapped (instead of just glued on) to the back of my autarch. After many futile green stuff attempts, My answer showed up among space marine bits, and I simply glued a space marine "honor sash" over the axe's hilt, and it looks great.

Congratulations, that was the stupidest remark the entire wargaming community has managed to produce in a long, long time.
Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy. |

Well yesterday, I decided that I wanted to include Noise Marines in my World Eaters army. Knowing full well that World Eaters wouldn't have any pretty-boy Slaaneshi marines in their army, I knew I would have to make a stand-in representation for them (using Noise Marine rules). I eventually came up with the idea of making them have cannons that shoot Boiling Blood (inspired by the old Cauldron of Blood from Epic). They have Blood Sprayers for Sonic Blasters, the Slaughtermaster for the Blastmasters, and the Coagulator that represents the Doom Siren. The varied/single frequency has been replaced by a splayed/concentrated stream (of blood).
I thought it was a good idea, and I've already figured out all the modelling aspects .

I wanted to have a weirdboy, but I hate the model GW has for him, so I took an old model from a board game, tidied him up, Orkified him, and now he is the most badass/creepy weirdboy I have ever seen.

- The face of an opponent when you lose five dozen models and say "that's it?", priceless. |

"Hrm, well, I'm not using this battlewagon turret, shame, maybe I can stick it on some other tank...actually it looks kind of like a truck cab.....OMG! Scratch built Trukk! It's genius!"
I'm in the process of building it right now :3, another moment of greatness was when I realized I could make lootas out of regular boyz carrying bunches of heavy weapons.

One time I was playing around with some SM from the AOBR and thought to my self "I already have 3 dreadnoughts" and ended up on a roll with one of my best conversions yet, a SM Dreadnought into a Ork Deff Dread! (I'll have pics soon)
