Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

Hey folks!

When Ghazghkull is in your army and you Waaaugh! some cool stuff happens.

-The Waaaugh! lasts a full turn.
-All orks are fearless
-All orks with the "Waaaugh!" special rule get a full 6" Waaaugh! movement instead of D6
-Ghazghkull's 2+ armor save turns into a 2+ invulnerable save.
-Cookies are distributed around the orks.

What happens if you have Ghazghkull in your army and a Weirdboy, and the Weirdboy calls down a Waaaugh!?

Can you potentially have duplicate of these Waaaughs? In the Ork codex under Ghazghkull's description, it says that the Waaaugh! can only be called once per game (which is typically of the Waaaugh!) and the same description applies to the normal Waaaugh! Except that the weirdboy has a special power that allows you to call the Waaaugh! more than once per game if you happen to roll a 6 for it.

The player calls a Waagh!

"It is not the bullet with your name on it that should worry you, it's the one labeled "To whom it may concern. . ."

Not sure how that answers my question?

"Once per game, the ork player can declare a "Waaaugh!" during his shooting phase"......my wife plays orks and she's a she, but that's besides the point.

Now turning to Ghazghkull's entry...."Ghazghkull's Waaaugh! can be summoned at any time, but only once per game..."

Actually, you did answer my question I think. The player declared a Waaaugh, but Ghazghkull's is better. Personally, I don't think I'll ever have Ghazghkull + Weirdboy in my armylist because I play mechanized and wouldn't go without a KFF big mek, but in apocalypse this has purpose.

Correct.
The player declares the Waaugh!

If Gazghull is in the army, those rules are used instead, IIRC.

"It is not the bullet with your name on it that should worry you, it's the one labeled "To whom it may concern. . ."

I disagree.

Ghaz's Waaagh can be called once per game instead of a normal Waaagh. But that doesn't mean that any other Waaagh called is also a Ghaz's Waaagh.

So if you have both in the army, you would get Ghaz's Waaagh once, and any Waaagh called by the Wierdboy would, as stated in the Wierdboy entry, use the standard rules on page 31.

Fair enough,
I have actually only had little experience with the Waagh! rules other than text, but insaniak's point seems entirely valid upon reading.

"It is not the bullet with your name on it that should worry you, it's the one labeled "To whom it may concern. . ."

There are numerous rules like that. Also judging by the number of girls i see playing 40k, they aren't far off the mark. More girls than chess mind you.

And yes, Ghazghkull's Waaagh! is unique from the weirdboy triggered Waaagh!. The only thing Ghazghkull's Waaagh replaces is the normal one your army gets, which the weirdboy also has no affect on.
