I put this list together recently just for fun. I don't presume to think it is competitive, but it will certainly keep people on their toes. C&C is of course welcome. If you can help me tighten things up, it becomes that much more fun Plan is to throw da Boss in with the Nobz in a BW, the BM in with the Shootas in the other BW and trukk the boyz up quick. Use the stormboyz as a distraction/tie up unit and kommandos to put it all together. The lootas will just sit back and blast away, as they should. The kanz should also help by providing plenty of targets.

HQ's are both fine.

Nobz you can drop the eavy armour and save points. You have 5+ invulnerable, then 4+ feel no pain. I've tried and tested this and it works . I don't think you need that many big shootas on the nobz battlewagons.

I don't rate stormboyz because they're in the open, have 6+ armour save and to use cover jump packs take dangerous terrain tests :( . The unit is big enough, but if you're going to take them I would add another unit for support and dual threat.

Hope that helps

Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

Save yourself 10 points:

Snikrot isn't an upgraded boy, he's his own character. You get a total of 15 models in a kommando squad. Your choices are this:

1. Take 15 kommandos.
2. Take 14 Kommandos, +1 nob (who was an upgraded boy)
3. Take 14 Kommandos + Boss Snikrot

Either way, you only get 15 models. =p

I was fairly sure that snikrot was in addition to the kommandos? It's a unit upgrade not a model upgrade otherwise it would state "one kommando may be upgradeed to boss sniktrot"???
Total unit size of 16 or are you suggesting to drop a kommando?

No, dashofpeper is right, if you read it it says "in stead of taking a nob a unit of kommandos may be lead by Snikrot for 85 points" this is a paraphrase. This tells us that instead of taking a nob, which is an upgrade, you may take snikrot, he is tequnicaly an upgrade for a regular boy, this means that the unit size can not exede 15, also this is stated in the unit size, right under the stat line.

Thanks for the tips. Yeah, I didn't catch on to that with the kommandos. I am trying them out, and I think they will be especially good against really annoying units like DR, Rangers, etc. Although I do hear from many people that they hate them.

It isn't ork players that hate Snikrot, its people who play against Orks that hate Snikrot.

For some reason my opponents worry about his squad CONSTANTLY. Not that he doesn't warrant concern, but he draws so much attention it causes opponents to deploy weirdly, and makes it easier for the bulk of my army to get stuck in far easier.
