Guess i missed posting here to begin with!
Been playing for a couple weeks now (tau obviously), playing at the 1,500pt mark at the moment (army completely built..still painting).
I'm 24, prior military, residing in Illinois (champaign/urbana area).
any and all help improving the army is appreciated, but i'm a math kinda guy so..ya lol

It was me, im just having trouble deciding whats more important (and fun of course )... a 5th rail gun...or a source of mark lights that always get at least 2 turns of painting... since some games it seems like pathfinders are better suited to just staying in their fish and running for objectives lol...but ohhhhh how i love watching a high priority target go boooooom from broadsides then watching submunis go off.. "love the smell of napalm in the morning!"

Welcome fellow follower of the Greater Good.
Yes, Broadsides are your best friend versus enemy armor; I especially like a 3-man team, team leader with drone controller and 2 shield drones and 2 others with target lock each).
Pathfinders are the best, point for point, when it comes to delivering markerlights. I run an 8-man unit with 2 or 3 railrifles for opportunity sniping.

welcome to the forums.......... again (how many people have said this already?)
any ways i dont have broardsides so i dont know how to use them my tactic would be outflanking stealth suits because they can become really annoying if not dealt with quick enough
