I really don't like the whole wing-thing, but to each there own I guess. The wongs just don't go with Marines. Maybe a mechanical-like wing?

Flash and bone wings just seem too chaosy for Imperial Space Marines.

The wings are indeed a cool conversion. Keep it.

I like the idea although just in my opinion i think they would have looked better if you found a way to do it without the backpacks on.

I have a set of those wings or atleasts they look very much like those. Its a giant falcon from the fantasy line of miniatures.

They are cute and cuddly though :(_ In all honesty only real thing I could say looking back at those if you cut away the filters you can bring the wings up a bit more on the packs making it look cleaner.

Thier chapter master Sanguinius had a fething pair of wings, so why cant the more exalted members of the chapter?

Ive actually been thinking about winged assault vets for my BA, but the only set back was trying to find wings that would fit, and that were also plastic

Also, make a libby with wings!
(no one can argue since they can use wings of sanguinius and count as jump )

too true baal is a planet known for its mutations, surely any mutant born in the image of the mighty sanguinius would be exaulted and reveared and given a place of honour in the chapter

I am not knocking it at all so lets not percieve it that way. I actually like the idea alright. Just wanted that out their.

Fluff aside (some care, some don't, some could probably find a way to justify it), those are pretty damned cool.

Could we get a shot from the back? Empchild's comment about attaching them where the vents would be sounds like it could work. Might be better for mechanical wings or the like, and that side shot makes me think they'd be sitting too high to look right, but it'd be much easier to tell with a rear view. Plus, I'd like to get a better view of the attachment.
