Anyone have experience in converting the Ravenwing battleforce box (1 speeder, 6 bikes, attack bike) into normal marines? How ingrained is some of the ravenwing iconography?

Most of the Ravenwing stuff in on the shoulder pads and back packs. I am using one for some Swiftclaws and the other one for my SM Chapter. Actually most of the Ravenwing parts have nothing to do with the bikes and Land Speeder. In fact this is a quick way to get full squads of both. With the 2 extra Land Speeders I picked up all I need is one more and I will have a full Swiftclaw pack with 2 Characters, a full Space Wolf Land Speeder Squadron, Samuel and a full Ravenwing. I will also have one extra Attack Bike that I have now idea what I am going to do with.

Speaking of the Ravenwing Box - anyone know if the Speeder is the new one yet?

Probably old then.

Pity. That wasn't a very good kit.

Definitely old still,

The ravenwing box consists of regular space marine bikes, regular space marine land speeders, and a few sprews to convert them into ravenwing. So, just don't use those sprews and you're good. And if you happen to buy a bunch of ravenwing boxes because it's the cheapest way to get a space marine bike army and don't use any of the ravenwing stuff, you end up with a ton of extra assault cannons you can use to make assault cannon razor backs...not that I would know anything about that.

Build a fire for a man and he will be warm for a day; set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

Sly Marbo was originally armed with a power weapon, but he dropped it while assaulting a space marine command squad just so his enemies could feel pain.

Sly Marbo doesn't go to ground, the ground comes to him.
