So few of them seen online and even fewer well painted.
Since this is the special character of "my" chapter I decided to haul ass and get this mini done complete with a sculpted base and all.

The next step was choosing the colours.
I saw the "white" vulkan mini somewhere but I think white doesnt fit as well as earth tones and besides it doesnt fit the chapter theme.
Red complements green the best so red was going to be part of the colour to complement all the green. Gold and bronze was next as chapter colours as well as breaking up the green and red.
Complementary colurs that go well with these were chosen as "silver" and grey-white and an earthly tone for the mantle with the mandatory greenish scales mixed in with bony protrusions.
I always go for that greenish colour on scales.

Dunno how it all turned out, I cant bee the judge of my own work so you´ll have to tell me if its ok or if somehting could have been better or other.

It was also very tricky to put the mini on the base but eventually greenstuff prevailed.

You should be very proud of this one. The blending on the blade and backpack flame makes me jealous.

I have no areas for improvement for this one.

The only suggestion I would make would to have flame colors on the base of the inside of his cloak instead of just red. But it looks fine, as is.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

Outstanding!

Specially, the cloak, the colors are so natural.
