THE PATCH IS UP! FINALLY!

That was my thought yesterday... untill I realized its blizzard and it will be hard to log in/get into instances and raids/other slowed thing for about a week... Its quite irritating when something comes out and its so messed up that the server crashes every 30 minutes but oh well!!!

So what you guys think? excited about Icecrown citadel? I know I am!

there were some bugs as expected but i ran a couple of the new instances using the new group finder tool and it was great.
i ran more instances last night alone than i think i do in a standard week...lol!

I have only tried out FoS... the instance before PoS... regular so far but I plan to do heroics like crazy now with the new LFG thingie....

Yeah I did all 3 of the new dungeons on heroic yesterday... and normal... quite iritating that you get emblems of triumph from a 5 man let alone non heroic... The loot in heroic is also 10m toc equivilant so it would appear blizz still wants to make it ez on the newblets

I hate the new loot table. moves around the screen. to annoying. But this will keep me playing wow more.

I like it, went from no gear to full T9 DPS in like two weeks (I know it can be done faster) Yet to do the new raids though, any good loot drop?

If you plan on raiding in the future its more benefitial to sell it for like 10k.... Garanteed there will be better drops than the hilt quest blades in next patch, and on top of that, wait a month or two and the hilt will go down dramaticaly in price...

I actually signed back up for wow which I never thought I'd do, after a 2 year break. with my new PC and new video card I'm playing with all options maxed, 1920x1080 with 4x antialias. game looks great. Getting an average of 40-60 fps depending on whats going on. on my old mac I had to have everything set medium-low and a lot of places in outland really hit my fps hard.

I have a level 70 human warlock and brought him to the new area and I dunno, after a few quests and running around it just seemed like same ole same ole. And there's just no one around at all unless you're in the auction house. I guess they're all in the new patch areas right now. So I thought I'd give a death knight a whirl and so far it's been hella fun. The starting quests were all entertaining and the big war at the end of them was really cool. I'm in outland now blowing through quests. I like how my death knight gear is still better than the outland greens, back when i first went to outland all the greenie stuff was better than my raiding gear :(

I'm probably not gonna really have time to do instances or raids for that matter, so the DK seems like a great solo class that will be good for battlegrounds too when I get him maxed. I gave him skinning and mining and got that all to 300, sold so much stuff that I have over 500 gold already. not too many alts running around collecting stuff right now I guess with people running the new patch areas. I like how they added the buff to trade skills and the accomplishments are a fun addition too.

The new LFG system is amazing absolutly love it, however some of the people involved in it not so much but it differs from the old style quite alot and provides much more opportunities which make the game much more fun

I had fun playing WoW, got my Shaman up to 75 (from 60), dk up to 70. Waiting for a new computer before playing again. All in all, a great game that is not going anywhere.

I made myself a death knight and I've been having a lot of fun with him. level 66 and climbing right now. But I'm not going to get into the rep grind and all that stuff. Folks are saying cataclysm will come out this spring so I'm just going to work on getting my characters leveled up to 80 so they'll be ready for the new stuff.
