So i just got 2 ork battleforce boxes. each box comes with 20 boys and 3 bikerz. But the kicker is it comes with something like 90 arms. so thats 40 boys and 6 bikers with 180 arms. i have no idea what to do with all these arms. cant decide what combos i want to go with on what minis so looking for a little advice on this.

Have one 20 man squad of boyz with shootas, and one with sluggas. Give the shoota squad two big shootas, and give both squads a nob with a powerklaw. Combine the bikers into a 6 man unit and give them a nob with a powerklaw. Save all the spare bitz and bobs for future conversions, or trade them for something else at the Swap Shop.

I'd say go with Sluggas and Choppas there a good combo, however thats just my thoughts. Look at what kinds of armies you play against the most and think about which setup works best for you.

Current Armies:
Invaders (Salamanders Sub-Chapter) A few vairous scratch built models
Just getting started A few models with more to come
Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

As for extra arms you should totaly give each ork six arms and be all like (I have six close combat weapons so that's plus 5 attack, 2 base, plus one charge, that's like 8 attacks per models.) then chackle manicaly intill your opponent either leaves or punches you in the face.

That's what I'm doing with my beastguard, anyways.

You think that Carnifex can beat Guardsman Phil?

Think again.

13 arms on the back, 13 on the chest, 6 on each side, 5 on each leg.

50 attacks, 51 on the charge.

So what if it can't wound him? He'll die from the sight of it.

Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

My advice:

You'll sort out what to do with the boys. You'll either make them sluggas and choppas or shoota boys - unless you have long vision (maybe!) and either sticky tac or magnetize the arms until you flesh out your army.

My advice though...

Assemble the bikes. Use them to kustom-build nob bikers. All the legs are fine, and some of the arms will go fitting onto the bikes to show them holding the bike handles....but turn those bikes into nob bikers. Diversify their wounds. In fact, bookmark this and do this later:

1. Painboy
2. Waaaugh! Banner
3. Bosspole
4. Powerklaw
5. Powerklaw + Ammo Runt
6. Powerklaw + Kombi-Skorcha
7. Big Choppa
8. Big Choppa + Ammo Runt
9. Big Choppa + Kombi-Skorcha
10. Normal Nob.

Put those 10 onto bikes, make them WYSIWYG with magnets (my advice) so that you can change out their arms for different games / tournaments depending on what you want to run or have points to run. In terms of where to get stuff to make all this...

Painboy - He comes in his own blister; you can make a poor man's painboy by painting/gluing a surgical mask on a boy (cloth if nothing else) and painting it white with some blood spatter. Give him a slugga in one hand (pistol) and shave down a piece of sprue for the end (or a real needle) to put a needlepoint on it.

Waaaugh! Banner - these come in a box of metal nobs....maybe in the new plastic ones? Or you can use the banner from fantasy orks....if you need to, just use one of the bosspoles that comes in your battleforce boxes. Just make sure you use a different kind than with your bosspole, and glue some gubbins to it to make it look like more than a bosspole.

Bosspole - easy enough, there's plenty in your bits from a battleforce box.

Powerklaws - You should have a few of these. If you don't have enough, you can shave down a fist and glue three pieces of sprue into a scissor/klaw looking hand. Don't forget that the forums here have a trade section if you need to find bits.

Big Choppas - There should be pieces for a nob with a big arm with a big axe with a spike coming out of the wrist-guard and a chain going from the axe to the wrist. Voila - big choppas. You'll have two from two battleforce boxes. For your third big choppa, take an axe arm, cut the axe off of another axe arm, and make it a double-sided axe...something big.

Ammo Runts - Biker boys come with one of these - its a little gretchin on a pole that fits into a slot on the back of a bike.

Kombi-Skorcha - Talk to your friends at your FLGS; see if you can get any Tau flamers or fusion blasters, or space marine flamer weapons...you can use these to convert into kombi-skorchas to stick on the bottom of a shoota. Alternatively, the new plastic nobs come with an actual kombi-skorcha.

-----------------------------------------------------
The reason I use this combination is because it diversifies all 10 nobs, for as little points as possible while providing the maximum killing power. Three powerklaws seems to be the balance for me, and kombi-skorchas let you dump a bit of template power into whatever you need it for. I'd never throw a biker nob squad at genestealers, but I'd definitely have them drive up next to them and dakka the crap out of them in addition to two skorcha templates. Kombi-rokkits don't belong with nobs; if your're going to shoot them at a vehicle, then the nobs have to assault the vehicle, which is under-utilizing the nobs; you have dakka guns and a big footprint that lets you multi-assault where you want to go.
-----------------------------------------------------

Anyway, that's mya dvice.

Good advice above but (IMO), if you're going to spring for 10 Nobs, you might as well go big.
Here's a minor adjustment to that list:

1. Painboy
2. Power Klaw + Waaagh! Banner
3. Power Klaw + Bosspole
4. Power Klaw + Bosspole + Ammo Runt
5. Power Klaw + Ammo Runt
6. Power Klaw + Kombi-Skorcha
7. Power Klaw + Rokkit Launcher
8. Power Klaw + Rokkit Launcher + Ammo Runt
9. Power Klaw + Rokkit Launcher + Ammo Runt + Bosspole
10. Power Klaw

10 Nobs. (Almost) All power klaws.
Nothing survives getting hit with that. LOL

Don't forget your Warboss on bike, so they're troops and can accompany him!

150 points in klaws isn't exactly a minor adjustment. 9 klaws seems like overkill, to me. I1 vs I3/4 isn't a huge deal, since you aren't counting on swinging first at every target to win CC, but will you ever need that many klaw attacks to kill a unit or even a vehicle? At 25 points per klaw, you're doubling the cost of upgrading the nobs to bikers and that's before you add the diversifying gear. Going big is one thing, but that's going huge. I think you'd be better off taking another (albeit smaller) squad and keeping them cheap for the same overall cost. Plus, Dash's point about rokkits still stands.

A more experienced player can probably respond better, but it doesn't seem like the best option, to me. Whether or not you want them as troops would depend on the rest of your list. If you've got plenty of troops and no elites, keep them as elites and run around krumpin' while the rest of the lads sit on objectives.

Okay. Maybe "minor" was an understatement. LOL
I'll give you that one.
I still prefer them to have all klaws (of course, I don't play ALL Nob bikers, and I don't play 10=man squads, either) for the simple fact that, no matter which one you kill of, the only thing you have to be happy about is if you happen to kill one that still had his Ammo runt, or if you get the Waaagh Banner. LOL No matter what, you always have to look out for the klaws.

(Not trying to pass that off as a competetive tourney option, BTW).

As far as i know , the AOBR choppa boys cant really hold the shootas from Ork boys kit.

In other words , if you assemble them to use choppas , there are no extra Ork boys that can use the shootas bits other than the one that comes in kits.

Since choppa boys are very cheap $ wise since they are all over AOBR , you might as well as assemble them as shoota.
