I understand the idea you're trying to do, but, that would take a lot of conversion and a lot of green stuff I'm thinking. But, if you could somehow pull it off, I personally think it would be a really unique flavor to your army.

Honestly though, the best way to get started would be to just get the AoBR, and sell the marines like everyone else is saying. Make your Tau Heavy Support looted, and experiment with some ork bitz with the tau guys.

I personally think an Ork in a XV8 Battlesuit would be badass.
