Greetings all! My name is Hank, I am going on 27 years old, bought my first GW figure(s) back when i was ohhh... 14? or 13? I always loved the Miniatures and the painting, i never thought I would be that good a painter, so from 16-18 i focused more on converting, and game play, painting was always secondary. Until shortly before my 18th bDay, I was looking through a white dwarf, i cant tell you which one. But there was this Skaven army, painted like nothing i'd ever seen, lots of un-obvious converstions. I wish i could give credit where credit is due i'll have to look that WD up. That army motivated me with my own Skaven that I had started at the time. Needless to say that changed my outlook on painting. I have since gone through many painting projects unfortunetly I don't have too many pics of the older stuff or the figures. The big project I have been working on is my Ultra Marines 3rd Co. not just an army, the WHOLE company. With supporting cast members from Scouts (and eventually Terminators). My main goal in this project is to have the same quality of paint job/conversion(s)/modeling level through out the whole company, that means every Tactical Marine gets the same amount of attention as the special characters and command figures. I noticed even in my own army, I would focus so much attention on all the unique figure(s) that I would neglect the rest of the army. I started this project in the summer of 2005 so its been along time coming. During this time I got married and had two kids, so i feel like overall i've been setting a good pace on this project. I have all figures i need so now its just a ipmatter of painting. Thank you for your time. I hope you enjoy what i put up. I love getting good honest advice, new tips and tricks. Thanks for the welcomes! I've been a new member for just a few days and I love this website. I was on coolminiornot.com for along time, and was very dissapointed with that site.
