Now, a lot of my friends are calling out for a "Halo 4" but as for me I don't want Bungine to make more Halo. Don't get me wrong, I like halo games alright, they are fun, but I think the world has had enough Halo. I want bungie to make new games! Not re-make their old games!

Discuss, Halo 4 or something else?

Bungie has declared that they wouldn't make another Halo game after Reach. Another company will be gaking out Halo games from now on.

Yeah, 343 Industries (or something like that) is going to make Halo games after Reach. Bungie might start something new, or even go back to their old franchises, Myth and Marathon.

It's been said that it's a brand new IP.

What else can bungie do?

I hope they do something other than sci-fi next. That way you'd (hopefully) leave the comparisons to Marathon and Halo behind, and let the game stand on it's own.

A revisit of Oni wouldn't hurt either, though I'm not sure who owns the rights to that at the moment.

Bungie should take a break from Halo, they deserve it. Flex those non-Halo creative muscles. In a few years when the next gen systems come out than they should go back and do the return of the Master Chief.
