Hello dakkaites, I was looking at pics of a thousand son termie. And I found this pic. Any ways I want to know if the accessories were bought or were they made.

Yeah, nothgn on Forgeworld yet. But i would think they woudl do them at some point, having already released upgrade kits for Deathguard and World Eaters. Thousand Sons can't be too far behind.

I'm fairly sure the basic model is just an ordinary chaos terminator (possibly with some spikes and extra ornaments shaved off)

The loincloth is part of the metal thousand sons bits.

The crest must be custom made, card and/or greenstuff - the shape is nothing like the crests attached to TS helmets.

Base model: Chaos termie (plastic)

Head crest: Metal one from the thousands son set.
Simply been clipped off, added onto a termie head and GS'ed to fill gaps.

Chest plate: Looks custom to me, havent seen it before so im guessing the guy/gal made it from scratch.

Loincloth: metal one from the thousand sons box.

Pretty simple convetion, yet looks damn good

Exactly what JD and I B H T E said. Not sure about a bit for the loin cloth short of buying the box of TS. As for th glowing eyes it is probably photo shopped.

I've never cared for this conversion. The headdress belongs on the head after all. If GW/FW was to make 1ksons Termies, I'd be they'd come up with a more novel design than this. The paint job is excellent though and I don't think for a second that the eyes have been photoshopped.

It's a painting technique called origin source lighting(or close to it).
