I was actually thinking about what actually happens to tanks in the real world.

Haha, I know, just messin' with ya. However, in the real world, I don't think they get very muddy on the top. Google some pics of tanks going through the mud and you'll see that it doesn't really splash up top very much.

I would suggest just maybe cleaning up the blue on top. Then I would be happy. The thick stuff on the tracks is fantastic.

Because...................I wanted it green. And I am not done with it. When does most things in 40k match modern day stuff. Its all gothic here so lets make the shells different. Not everything has to match and be the same or we would have a boring hobby.

Dont take offense mike. We were just wondering. Most of your stuff is such high quality, that when we see something like that that seems a bit out of place in our eyes, we ask questions. To me it is hard to tell what is WIP or finished. It might help a bit if you posted WIP Vindicator on Page 9 just so we know if its done or not. It gets confusing when you see a vindicator like that with such high quality, and then a unfineshed green shell. Its not bad, Just seems a bit out of place right now. Im sure when its done it will look better.

Honestly i have to back Imperial Renegade here, the shell does look a bit out of place colour wise, that and its a bit shiney. Apart from that the vindicator looks sweet

Thanks for all of the good replies guys! Hey notice that the pic of the BA is not grainy anymore! Dakkadakka was recompressing my pics and making them look like that..... So I now have an image shack account and they look fine now.

Update.

Here is my WIP marines..... They are still waiting for lots of details to be picked out as I am doing the base coating first on the Marines and i will make sure each one looks good when I am done base coating the army. I tried blue in the backround of the lightbox and seems to be working out better! Also an updated Libby pic as the old ones were pretty bad.

Lots of work to do....

These are still very much WIP.
I still have to pick out lots of details and the shading needs more layers to it but I am glad the red is over for this squad..... on to the Assualt Marines.
