That seems to be the case with the Avengers, but I'm sure they used the term mutant at least once in Deadpool.
That's because Deadpool is made by Fox, who owns the rights to the X-Men, so they don't have to dance around the whole Mutant thing. As evidenced by having the actual X-Men in the movie, as much as they were able to budget at least
Oh! Got it. For some reason I was thinking Deadpool was a Disney Marvel movie, but in retrospect I have no idea why I was thinking that.
We were talking about Disney having the rights to Avengers and the Helicarrier which started this whole side topic, so probably just some crossed wires there.
