MiG Productions has released a new Hover Tank to add to their range of sci-fi miniatures. It has very Tau-like overtones, I thought, but it's slightly pricy at 52 Euros.

It's inspired by Maschinen Krieger, a series of photobooks on far future combat. They have some interesting designs, very gribbliefied and organic.

I think the Hovertank painted like that makes more sense as a looted flyer. Looks a bit rqamshackle to me. also the big gun is very orky, Add some extra plates and bam ork flyer ready to go...

the walker is meh IMHO. It is the turret that ruins it for me. to blockey or something...

I agree , that looks like a super fancy Admech walker tank , FW quality.

Get a hobbyboss or similar cheap 1/48 scale KV2, find some spare defiler legs and voila! stalk tanks and other counts as goodness.

Add some green stuff to the hover tank and you could have something vaguely Niddy?

Bloody expensive though!

For a 1/35 resin kit, 52€ is still pretty cheap. If it was 150€ like some of Accurate Armour's kits, then I'd be alright with calling it expensive.

I'm considering sticking some defiler legs under it, modifying the guns, and using it as a leman russ. Make an awesome flat crab tank if nothing else.

Check out the build-up on the designer's site (link is to all-angle pics, but search back for the build pics). The rest of his work is also totally inspiring. This guy is the sort of old-school garage kitbasher that Maschinen Krieger came from. Man, do I love reading his updates.
