I was sorting through my old space marine collection (I mean OLD space marine collection) wherein I found two pieces which I couldn't seem to identify or deduce how they fitted together or whether they even were from the same model. Here are the parts below:

If anyone knows what model there two pieces come from and possibly even a picture of each/either completed figure I would appreciate it.

Thats not THAT old. Its a lascannon devastator marine, I remember people buying those when I started playing in third edition.

Dakka. You need more of it. No exceptions.

What are you talking about? They're Space Marines, which are heroic. They need to be able to do all the heroic stuff. They fight aliens and don't afraid of anything. -Orkeosarus

I have the same model. You need to clip the handle off the lascannon, add a plastic shoulder pad and an arm and then glue (with pinning ideally) it all together.

The 'socket' on the lascannon (in the back bit) fits over the backpack on the marine if you've assembled it properly, too.

It's just a 2nd ed metal devastator lascannon marine.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

While I'm not a huge fan of the static pose, I do love the reinforced boots on the 2nd Ed Devastators. In fact, I really wish that GW would run a new line of plastic Devastator legs with heavier boots. I think it'd help them differentiate the models - make them more interesting. Just like you've got different Assault Marine legs, I think it'd be cool to have different, heavier, Devastator legs.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Those came with a sprue of plastic arms that fit special weapons as well as regular troops. Fortunately you should be able to whip something up with the (much improved) current plastics.
