Just as the subject says...Is the dark eldar RAVEN worth buying from forge world? I don't use fliers, and I just feel that even when I am all said and done, my DE army might need something else. Anyone out there use them? Do you find them helpful? I know I need the IA books for them (I don't own any) but still just wondering.

I know its load out and I'm just not sure for its points if its worth the time, money, or points to get.

Any comments would be helpful in my decision making.

I once play a few (3) in a small apocalypse game once, they were all killed by my imp guard mate by his vendetta's...But don't let that stop you, they're a pretty awesome looking model and even if you never used it, it would still look great on the shelve witht he rest of your DE

Resoundingly no.

Wait for a new DE Codex. Dark Eldar scale well up to 1850, but after that...its more of what you already have, although you can take different forms of it up to 2500. In an apocalypse game....you should play another army. =p

They're not worth there points. I field my 2 Raven fighters as Nightwing Interceptors. I love fielding my Dark Eldar in Apoc games. 6-10 Ravagers obliterating Titans and Emperors Fist tank squadrons in a single round of shooting.
