Everytime I try to paint a spirt stone, or its equivalent, it ends up looking bad . I have read step-by-step directions on how to paint them but I always mess up or something. Lately I've been leaving just solid colors on my models since it does look better than if I attempted to paint the highlights. I would greatly appreciate any advice on painting the highlights on spirit stones and their equivalents .
