Hi everyone,

As you all may know we have been hard at work with the great design team over at Privateer Press. Rob Hawkins and I have spent countless hours in designing a bag that not only carried models but took care of the little details. Careful thought went into each part of the bag. Little details like a place to clip your card pages or slide your card sleeves.

Along with these and many other cool features is the foam. As always only the highest quality foam is used in Battle Foam trays. If it does not say Battle Foam its just a cheap rip off. The guys at Privateer Press has their hands in every part of the foam tray design and came up with a great combo of trays and toppers to keep even the most oddly posed models safe.

Nice work. It's interesting to see the guys at Privateer Press working with you to create bags like this. I think we all wish a certain other company would be more willing to work with its fans, but oh well.

Its not from a lack of effort on our part. We approached GW on several occations to try and work something out. They told me that Battle Foam and our products are "not what GW is looking for right now."

I must say that those oversized, airport restricted, hard cases of theirs are much better. LOL

I think my DeWalt screwdriver came in one of those, or was that my AR-15 rifle. Can't remember.

Maybe after they see that we do good for companies like Battle Front and Privateer Press they will wise up.

Or maybe not.

How much will individual trays cost after release?

Hi Malfred,

The trays will retail for around $13.00 to $15.00 each depending on the size. The cool thing is that they are bigger then Sabol trays can hold more then pluck and pick and are a nice new foot print for us of 15.5 x 8.5. This new size allows the bag to be a bit thinner and easier to carry around.

The best part about having the license with PP is we'll be working with them on army specific trays.

So we'll be the only company allowed to do things like an all CRYX Warcaster Tray. These will be available later next year but you'll be able to just log in to Battle Foam, click your army, and pick the trays pre cut to fit every model in that range perfectly with pre done custom cuts. These custom cuts will be provided by the PP team to us to review and build programs for.

Also the logos for the specific factions will be fully visible on the trays since the license allows words and art to be provide by PP.

Its overall a pure win for you guys and us at BF just like RogueMarket said.

Do you have a date in mind beyond "some time" in the new year when those faction packs will be available?

I don't play either of those games, but those are some really sweet bags.

These look great! Will they be available empty?

Yes, we will be updating the site later today and adding not just the empty bags, but the individual trays. You will be able to buy specific trays to fill the bag. You may also want to buy extra trays that will work for storage.

p.s. I hope you guys can imagine how the past few weeks have been for us. Flames Bag, Black Friday Sale, Family in town for Christmas, and now PP bags go live. We are a bit slow to add everything to the site. LOL

Also, can you show how full the binder pages can get? I know the site says 30 pages, but
if you stuff cards into ultra pro card sheets I'm not sure how well that will work.

We actually tested the fit and the bags have a 30 FULL page capacity. That's 270 cards in just the pages. Don't forget the sleep pockets that also hold 6 to 8 sleeves X 8 pockets. That's another 48+ cards in the pockets.

Hi Guys,

Ok, so we added the bags empty and full on the shopping cart. We also added each of the 3 trays available on their own. This will allow people to select specific trays they want and fill the empty bag as they wish.

Keep in mind that other private licensed trays will also be coming out in the spring that will be pre cuts with the exact figures in them. Those trays will have faction specific markings to truly show off your colors.

Awesome Romeo, this should be a definite buy for any Warmachine/ Hordes player. Glad to see the individual trays were available upon release. Any word on when the individual Flames of War trays will be available? For what it's worth, a FOW tray with 1/2 HQ and 1/2 troop bases would be fantastic!
