At my local GW i came across an employee working on what appeared to be the 5th edition nid battleset. From what I can tell it seems identical to the 3rd edition battleset for nids. Has anyone else seen this or are they different?

If you mean battleforce then the answer is both yes and no.
Yes, the sculpts in the new battleforce are identical.
No, the contents of the new battleforce is different.

oh, ok. I get it know. i did think it would be a bit odd to have an identical battleforece

IMO i prefer the old one. Though this one is better for hordyness.

Don't forget the three ripper bases that also come with it.

The new one seems slightly better for nidzilla players who don't need another carnifex. It's not great value apart from that.
