My plan is to attach the Haemonculi to the Grotesques, drive up to the enemy, drop the portals, and send everything else on my list out of the portals and into the enemy.
Any advice on improving this list would be greatly appreciated!

I'd recommend swapping out the warriors in the retinue for more incubi, as the warriors will be kind of worthless. Also, you might want to squeeze in one or two more troop squads. In objective based games, your warrior squads will be quickly eliminated. And I'd recommend putting the warriors in a raider. Even though they're coming out of a webway portal, having that extra mobility really helps and it gives them a bit more survivability. You could free up some points by dropping a couple grotesques.

No plasma grenades on the retinue?

The fellow with a fire inside him made some decent points - without scissorhands on the Haemy you won't want to have your Grotesques get caught up in h2h combat, so the difference between 5 or 7 starts to become fairly minor. You'll be immune to shooting and at best a tarpit in h2h in either case. So I'd probably drop down the size of the Grotesque squads.

If it was me, and I really wanted to run a WebWay list in 5th edition, I'd probably drop both Warrior squads (who are 144 points each by my accounting), and buy two Raider squads (equipped as either gunboat or mini sniper - really your preference) This could then be used to help screen the Haemy boats by turbo boosting the Raider squads first turn and using them as a front screen for whichever Haemy boat you don't turbo boost. With only two portals you'll really want to make sure you can at least drop the one on your second turn somewhere beyond your deployment zone. That will also give you two additional Lance platforms to threaten armor with and more mobile troop choices for claiming objectives.

Frankly, I would also just generally advise against only fielding two troop choices for DE - our base Warriors are very fragile and two out of three mission types do call for troops to claim objectives. A smart opponent could target them early and then just play to avoid being tabled for an easy win. If you want to keep to this similar plan I'd swap out the Grotesques for Raider squads - a little less tough but it would give you additional Troop options on the board. Destructor Haemys pair well with Gunboat Raider squad builds.

A Retinue should only take Warriors for the Splinter Cannons.

Also I'm not getting any good vibes from the Warpbeasts, they seem to be a fragile, small squad that are gonna struggle against a full sized Tactical squad, the only advantage I see is the massive charge radius and the fact they don't take up an elites slot.

I'd bulk the warrior squads up unless you plan to stick them on the raiders. 10 Warriors aren't going to survive long on foot against bolter fire.

Also littlenibbler Orks aren't about armour saves.
Orks are about having too many models on the table, and wasting the other guy's time with your movement phase.

The lack of raiders will... hurt you. Baddly. As well, you need some more dark lances... strip down the warrior squads and make them raider squads. Plasma grenades for the retinue. And if you can replace the Talos' with Ravagers if you can, they're insanely awesome.

Zid, though I agree with you at the basic level that Ravagers > Talos - with the OP choosing to run a WWP army his inclusion of Talos is very important to the basic strategy of WWP and they serve the role of both Lances and Dissies in the list with their ability to rip up non-fist/klaw squads as well as their ability to rip up armor. If he turned the Talosi into Ravagers and also listened to my advice about the Warrior squads (which I think he should) he would then be left with a WWP drop that only has 1 Wych squad and a Retinue popping out of it - and at that point he shouldn't even be bothering to run WWP at all.

I'd suggest trying to fine tune his WWP list as a WWP list.

True, I just dislike Talos... a lot. Any squad can kill it (its T7 afterall) and only seems to be useful against things like Tau. Its like a crappier version of a carnifex. Thats my personal opinion.

As such, I have no experience with WWP because I don't like the idea of standing still for a turn after DS lol. So omit my comments

I agree, I wouldn't suggest using deepstrike with WWP, and the OP doesn't seem to have that intention. He'll hop out of Raiders and wait a turn, sure, but it's less risky then deepstriking as he can screen with other turbo boosted Raiders. When i run WWP I always use Raiders as my delivery system for WWPs going deep across the board.
