Hoo boy, hard to pick just one moment from anime/manga...even within a single anime/manga, there are some really great times. Let's see...
Death Note: Two-way tie (Anime) between the episode where L dies (When they have a conversation on the roof of the Task Force headquarters) and the last episode, when Light flees the SPK and the Task Force as Ryuk talks about how he had a good run.
Case Closed: Thus far, my all-time favorite moment is the accusation by Harley during the only episode featuring a Sherlock Holmes club. I found it very climactic to hear him make the connection and realize that Conan was, in fact, Kudo.
Gundam: Come on, does it really need explaining? Fine. "This hand of mine glows with an awesome power! It's burning grip tells me to defeat you! Take this! My love, my anger, and all my sorrow! SHINING FINGER SWORD!"
Don't read much anime or manga, to be honest...although I do have a fine collection of full seasons sitting on my shelf.

The anime you posted just seems like it would run out of plots after a few episodes. Doesnt look good anyway, no explosions.
Oh....................................................................... i see..... explosions....
There is no anime up to date that can beat TENGEN TOPPA GURREN LAGANN in that department. (also manliest man , more manly than the emperor )

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann has to be one of the coolest animes there is. It's got just about every anime cliche you can think of, compacted into a super dense ball of solid awesome. At only 27 episodes long, it's easily watchable too, and for free on Hulu no less!
Other than that I just picked up the Wolf's Rain DVD set today and am rewatching that series. It's another good one.
Also picked up Now and Then, Here and There for my brother's Xmas present. I thought that one's pretty good myself, but he really loves it.

Hmm, if you're looking for a more intricate/deep anime series, I might recommend Noein: To Your Other Self. The series is essentially about a group of friends who are caught in the midst of a war between two alternate universes, each one sparked by a reaction to a certain event (Either the main protagonist would become a warrior hoping to defend a post-apocalyptic world - or an evil being bent on absorbing all alternate universes into his own to prevent all sadness). It's a very interesting anime, and I personally love it.
Oh, and though I don't read it (Not my cup of tea, to be honest) I could also point out One Piece (NOT the 4kids dub). A couple of my friends rave about it constantly, and apparently it's pretty good.

The 1st Guiver film had to be the best However, finding any of the films are pretty much impossible.
Also, OP: That isnt techno mate, its pretty far from lol.
Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.

Hmmm, Im looking for a new manga to read. I prefer manga/anime with a big background, anyone got any ideas?
Death Note maybe? Or, Bleach?
Ahh, yes, due to 3:00 AM posting, I forgot about these. Death Note is quite awesome, and a very good psychological thriller. Along the same lines, I can also recommend Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (Basically Death Note crossed with Gundam Wing). Bleach is also a fairly big universe, and is a pretty interesting read/watch.
Oh, and speaking of Gundam Wing, the Gundam series has a lot of different series out there, though Gundam Wing will always be my favorite.
